Distance from city center requires a car or taxi!!! Furniture obstructing access to the balcony is frustrating!!! The décor feels dated, as if it's stuck in the past!!! Poor noise insulation detracts from privacy!!!

i loved my stay at mercure! the pool and sauna were amazing and the view from my room's balcony was breathtaking, high above the town. the staff was really courteous and reserved a parking spot for me, which was super helpful. i enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.

Just an optimal selection for a city holiday in Freiburg im Breisgau with all in all brilliant value for money. Enjoyed the warm, welcoming attitude of the staff who really made an effort during our stay. Skip the hotel breakfast and try one of the local cafes for better options.

I had a wonderful stay, enjoying a breathtaking view of Freiburg from my room and throughout the hotel, especially while dining at the restaurant, which offered a delightful dinner menu. The staff were consistently attentive, making my dining experiences enjoyable and relaxing. The sauna and pool facilities were a fantastic addition, open until midnight, which I took full advantage of after a day exploring the nearby hiking trails. However, I found the distance to the city center a bit inconvenient, making taxis essential.
